“My work is certainly an adoration and dedication to the underwater world. With Undersurface and Anemone Collections, I try to represent the beauty of sea creatures: presenting their incredible shapes and rich colours. I want to create a relaxing and soothing effect for the viewer with all the details it offers”.
Aişegül Telli is a jewellery artist from Istanbul, graduated in Chemistry in 2009, who found herself looking for an appropriate language to transform her emotions and impressions into contemporary art. From darkroom to underwater digital photography; from fashion styling to watercolour painting, she has created projects of all kinds. After studying jewelry, she decided that these small wearable sculptures are the most satisfying means of communication with viewers and those who wear them. Every idea and every piece has forced her to experiment with new materials and every material turns out to be a new expressive language. In 2014, Aişegül Telli launched her first Undersurface collection, inspired by her dives in the Indian Ocean.
